Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipper/Receiver for our client located in Cambridge ON. This role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing the receipt, storage, and shipment of goods, ensuring accurate order fulfillment and smooth warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will possess robust organizational skills, experience with warehouse management systems, and the ability to operate various material handling equipment. This position plays a vital role in maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting timely deliveries, and upholding safety standards across the facility.

Full time Monday to Friday 7:00am - 3:00pm

Position is accessible via public transportation.

Forklift certification: A current external forklift licence is not required but considered an asset. Successful candidates will receive in-house forklift training prior to operating the equipment.

** Please note, this position is temporary, with the potential to transition into a permanent full-time opportunity based on business needs and performance.

Responsibilities

- Operate a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently to move materials throughout the facility
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments
- Receive, organize,



and stage materials and products
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities within the Materials department
- Move materials between designated areas of the facility
- Verify materials and shipments for accuracy
- Complete required shipping and receiving documentation
- Maintain an organized and protected work area
- Follow all company safety procedures and workplace policies
- Support the Materials team with other warehouse duties as required

Requirements

- Proven experience in warehouse operations, shipping & receiving, or related roles within a fast-paced environment.
- Experience operating a counterbalance forklift is required
- Previous shipping and receiving experience is required
- Automotive manufacturing or materials-handling experience is an asset
- Ability to safely lift and move materials as required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
