Location: Ville St-Laurent, QC (Hybrid – with potential for remote flexibility)
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Role Overview
We are seeking a creative, strategic, and highly engaging and organized Digital Communications Specialist to join our team in Ville St-Laurent. You will be the social voice of our brand, responsible for crafting compelling content, managing our digital communities, and optimizing our online presence. The ideal candidate has a sharp eye for visual design, a talent for storytelling, and a data-driven mindset to track performance. Experience in the industrial or infrastructure sector and/or working in a public company setting is highly valued, as we look for someone who can translate complex narratives into engaging social content.
Key Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Creation

- Editorial Calendar: Own and maintain a rolling editorial calendar across all social platforms, independently aligning content with corporate campaigns, activations, industry milestones, and emerging opportunities.
- Visual & Copy Development: Concept and produce high-quality, on-brand visual assets (graphics, short-form video) and write compelling, platform-specific copy. Expected to bring fresh creative ideas and continuously elevate the brand's content standards.
- Brand Voice & Creative Consistency: Serve as a steward of the brand's digital identity, ensuring tone, design, and messaging remain consistent across all channels.

Proactively flag and address gaps in brand standards as the company evolves.

Community & Performance Management

- Community Building: Go beyond day-to-day moderation with a proactive approach to community engagement — building meaningful relationships with followers and positioning the brand as a credible voice in the industrial/infrastructure space.
- Data Analytics & Reporting: Define KPIs, track performance metrics, and deliver clear, insightful monthly reports to leadership with actionable recommendations. Expected to adjust strategy based on data trends.

Digital Presence & Web Performance

- Website Management: Take an active role in maintaining and improving website content — including landing pages, service pages, and blog posts — with a focus on SEO, messaging accuracy, and user experience. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to recommend and implement improvements.
- Google My Business (GMB): Lead a full audit and overhaul of all GMB listings across regional locations. Own ongoing management including accuracy, visual consistency, review responses, and local SEO performance — reporting regularly to the marketing team.

Qualifications & Skills

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Experience: 5-7 years of proven experience in social media management, community building, and digital content creation.
- Asset: Experience working within an industrial, infrastructure, or B2B manufacturing brand is preferred.
- Technical Proficiency:

- Solid proficiency in social media scheduling tools and analytics platforms.
- Working knowledge of CMS for website updates.
- Graphic design skills (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar tools).
- Soft Skills:
- Strategic Prioritization: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under deadlines.
- Communication: Outgoing, collaborative, and capable of working effectively across departments.
- Copywriting: Exceptional command of language (English and French) with the ability to adjust tone for different audiences.
