Responsibilities

- Operate excavators with precision to perform digging, trenching, lifting, and material handling tasks across various construction sites
- Assist with the operation of related heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, and pavers to support project requirements
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure safety standards are maintained and perform basic maintenance as needed
- Follow detailed instructions from site supervisors to execute excavation plans accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate equipment use and ensure smooth workflow on site
- Maintain detailed logs of equipment operation, maintenance activities, and project progress reports
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols,



including wearing protective gear and following site safety procedures at all times

Skills

- Proven experience operating excavators in a construction environment with a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues and perform basic maintenance on machinery
- Ability to operate auxiliary equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, and pavers effectively
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred for transporting equipment or materials between sites
- Familiarity with horizontal drilling techniques and other specialized construction methods is a plus
- Knowledge of Caterpillar (CAT) machinery or similar brands enhances operational efficiency
- Strong understanding of construction safety standards and protocols to ensure a secure work environment
- Ability to read blueprints, site plans, and technical instructions for exact execution
