Recruiting Solutions by Deborah Zsebok is hiring for a Full Time OPERATIONS CO-ORDINATOR on behalf of our MARINE located in LaSalle, Ontario.
Location: LaSalle, Ontario
Onsite Hours: Monday – Friday (8am-5pm) and Summers ½ Saturday
Start/Duration: Immediate vacancy – Direct Hire permanent on client payroll
Position: Preferred marine industry knowledge OR automotive dealership service parts experience with experience liaising with customers and technicians, ordering parts, updating computer systems etc.
Compensation:
· $20 - $25/hour (mid to top end of pay range for candidates with marine or automotive parts counter experience)
· Monday – Friday 40 hours/week + summers ½ day Saturday
· Hourly pay, perks, vacation, employee discounts on personal marine parts as well as discounts on winterizing your personal vessel and access to the shop for use in off hours plus ½ price for a summer dock on site
About the Role
You will co-ordinate the day-to-day administrative and operational activities of the marina. This role is the primary communication hub for the office by supporting customers, technicians, suppliers, subcontractors and management by ensuring operational information is accurate, timely and effectively communicated.
The Operations Co-Ordinator is responsible for the administration of customer service requests, work orders, reservations, purchasing, inventory, customer invoicing, payment processing and the marina’s primary operational systems. The role enables the efficient delivery of marina services by allowing technicians and management to focus on delivering exceptional customer service and high-quality marine repairs.
What Prequalifications You Need
· Must have exceptional organizational and time management skills
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Excellent customer service skills
· Ability to prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment
· High attention to detail and accuracy
· Sound judgement and problem-solving ability
· Proficiency with Microsoft 365
· Ability to learn and effectively utilize Molo marine software and related marina management systems
· Preferred marine industry knowledge or automotive dealership service parts experience with experience liaising with customers and technicians, ordering parts, updating computer systems etc.
· Experience maintaining accurate operational information within various computer software programs
Your own transportation is required as they are not along a bus route.
The successful candidate must provide a clean police clearance.
