Job Overview
Swift Care Wellness is looking for a Registered Physiotherapist to join our team for a locum position from September 2026- May 2027. Mentorship will be provided, and there may be an opportunity for this role to transition into a permanent position if desired.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate patient conditions, identify impairments, and develop personalized treatment plans.

- Provide hands-on physiotherapy treatments such as manual therapy and therapeutic exercises.

- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to deliver holistic patient care.

- Educate patients on injury prevention, wellness practices, and rehabilitation exercises for home care.

- Document patient progress, treatment outcomes, and adjust therapy programs as needed to ensure effective recovery.

- Maintain professional standards of care.

- Stay updated with the latest physiotherapy practices, techniques, and research to deliver high-quality care.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.

- Valid Physiotherapist license to practice in Ontario.

- Certification in Acupuncture/ Vestibular Rehab is an asset.

- Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical setting (experience in outpatient care, sports injuries, pelvic floor physiotherapy or rehabilitation is preferred).





- Proficiency in developing personalized rehabilitation programs for patients with a range of conditions including musculoskeletal, neurological, pelvic, vestibular rehab and pre/post-surgical.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to educate and motivate patients.

- Knowledge and experience in completing WSIB and OCF documentation

- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team environment.
