This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Pharmacy Assistant with solid communication skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment. There is also the potential for this contract to be extended.

What We Offer
Competitive compensation of $19.00–$21.00 per hour (based on experience)
Full-time contract from August 10 through the end of November 2026
Potential for contract extension
Monday to Friday schedule
Regular daytime hours

Schedule
Monday to Friday
9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
30-minute unpaid lunch break
Key Responsibilities
Process prescription billing accurately.
Prepare and label prescription medications.
Answer incoming phone calls and respond to email inquiries.
Communicate with patients regarding their prescription coverage and insurance benefits.
Provide professional and courteous customer service.
Maintain accurate patient records using the Kroll Pharmacy Management System.
Support pharmacists with daily pharmacy operations while maintaining an efficient workflow.
Qualifications
Previous Canadian pharmacy assistant experience is preferred.
Experience using the Kroll Pharmacy Management System is preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
Experience with prescription billing and insurance adjudication is an asset.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
