Cook – Hunters Hut Restaurant

Hunters Hut Restaurant is looking for a reliable, hardworking, and experienced Cook to join our kitchen team. We serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and we are looking for someone who can work efficiently in a busy restaurant setting while maintaining high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and safety.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu items according to restaurant standards.
- Follow recipes, portion sizes, and food presentation guidelines.
- Prepare ingredients, sauces, vegetables, meats, and other food items as required.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work station.
- Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Monitor food quality, freshness, and proper storage.
- Work efficiently during busy periods and handle multiple orders at the same time.
- Communicate and work effectively with other kitchen and front-of-house staff.
- Assist with inventory, food preparation, and general kitchen duties when required.
- Minimize food waste and maintain proper portion control.

Requirements:





- Previous restaurant cooking experience is preferred.
- Experience preparing breakfast, lunch, and dinner is an asset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and busy kitchen environment.
- Good knowledge of food preparation and kitchen safety.
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the shift.
- Food Handler Certificate is required.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays, is an asset.
