Responsibilities

- Prepare a variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries, and other bakery items, ensuring high standards of food quality and safety
- Decorate cakes and desserts with precision, creativity, and attention to detail to meet customer specifications and enhance visual appeal
- Assist customers with selections, answer questions about products, and provide friendly, knowledgeable service to foster a positive shopping experience
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures, sanitation standards, and packaging guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness of the bakery area, including equipment, work surfaces, and storage spaces,



adhering to food safety regulations
- Restock display cases with fresh baked goods and ensure proper product presentation to attract customers
- Support the kitchen team with food preparation tasks as needed to ensure smooth daily operations

Experience

- Previous experience in a bakery or food service environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for baking and decorating is essential
- Skills in cake decorating, food preparation, and general kitchen work are highly valued
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper handling techniques in the food industry is a plus
- Experience in customer service roles within restaurants or retail settings will help you excel in engaging with customers effectively
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and work efficiently in a fast-paced workplace is necessary
