Axium Packaging has an immediate opening for an experienced Business Development Analyst at our Brampton location.
Key Responsibilities
Review customer requests for quotation (RFQs), drawings, specifications, and technical requirements.
Prepare accurate cost estimates based on materials, labor, tooling, overhead, and production processes.
Develop customer quotations in accordance with company pricing policies.
Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Sales to determine production feasibility and cost drivers.
Request and evaluate supplier pricing for purchased components and services.
Maintain pricing databases, standard costs, and quotation records.
Analyze historical pricing, market trends, and competitor activity to support pricing decisions.
Ensure quotations are completed accurately and within customer deadlines.
Review existing pricing and recommend updates based on changes in material costs,
labor rates, or manufacturing processes.
Support contract reviews and participate in pricing negotiations as required.
Ensure compliance with company quality standards, customer requirements, and internal procedures.
Assist in continuous improvement initiatives related to estimating and quoting processes.
Qualifications
Diploma or bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
2–4 years of experience in estimating, pricing, quoting, customer service, or sales supportwithin a manufacturing setting.
Experience interpreting engineering drawings and bills of materials (BOMs) is preferred.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, fabrication, assembly, or metalforming is an asset.
Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems, Sales Force, SAP and Microsoft Excel.
Experience with costing methodologies and pricing strategies.

Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
