Coach Manager – Kelowna

Schedule: Part-time, with potential for additional hours as the program grows

About the Role

Little Kickers is looking for a responsible, energetic and experienced Coach Manager to help oversee our coaching team and maintain the high standard of our programs throughout the Kelowna/Okanagan region.

This is a hands-on leadership role that combines coaching, team management, logistics and customer service. The ideal candidate is someone who genuinely enjoys working with young children, is dependable and organized, and can confidently solve problems when they arise.

Key Responsibilities

Coach Management

- Support, mentor and provide guidance to Little Kickers coaches.
- Help ensure coaches arrive on time, prepared and appropriately dressed for every session.
- Monitor coach attendance, punctuality and overall performance.
- Provide constructive feedback and help coaches continually improve.
- Assist with onboarding and training current coaches.
- Help maintain a positive, professional and supportive coaching environment.

Program Quality

- Maintain consistent Little Kickers standards across all Kelowna and surrounding area classes.
- Ensure coaches are following the Little Kickers curriculum and delivering engaging, age-appropriate sessions.
- Occasionally observe classes and provide feedback to coaches.
- Ensure children and families receive a consistently positive experience.
- Help identify areas where programs or coaching can be improved.

Logistics & Equipment

- Pick up and drop off uniforms, equipment and other program supplies as required.
- Ensure coaches have the equipment they need for each session.
- Help organize, maintain and track program equipment.
- Assist with last-minute schedule or staffing changes when necessary.
- Help coordinate coverage when a coach is unavailable.





Problem Solving

- Act as a point of contact when coaches encounter issues during classes.
- Respond calmly and professionally to last-minute challenges.
- Help resolve parent, facility or coaching concerns when required.
- Communicate important issues to the Operations Manager promptly.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will:

- Love working with young children and have a positive, energetic personality.
- Have previous experience working with children, coaching, teaching or in a leadership role.
- Be dependable, punctual and responsible.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be comfortable giving direction and constructive feedback to other coaches.
- Be able to problem-solve independently and think on their feet.
- Be organized and able to manage multiple responsibilities.
- Have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s licence.
- Be comfortable travelling between Kelowna-area program locations.
- Be physically active and able to participate in children’s soccer activities.
- Represent Little Kickers professionally at all times.
