This role is for someone who knows how to take a project from design intent to a complete, coordinated set of technical drawings. You’ll work closely with our design, engineering, architectural, and construction teams to produce accurate, buildable documents and help move projects efficiently from design through permitting and construction.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and detail complete sets of technical architectural and construction drawings.
- Develop accurate plans, sections, elevations, details, schedules, and drawing packages using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Coordinate drawings with engineering, architectural, and construction teams in-house.
- Review project requirements, specifications, consultant information, and site conditions to ensure drawings are complete and coordinated.
- Perform Ontario Building Code, or applicable provincial/national building code, analysis and incorporate applicable medical office standards throughout the detailing process.
- Prepare documentation for building permit submissions.
- Submit and manage building permit applications with multiple municipalities throughout Canada.
- Respond to municipal comments and coordinate required drawing revisions.
- Help maintain and improve drawing standards, details, templates, and repeatable systems.
- Work closely with project teams to meet demanding project schedules and deadlines.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 5 years of relevant detailing experience.
- Highly proficient in AutoCAD and Revit.
- Robust ability to read, interpret, coordinate,
and detail complete sets of technical architectural drawings.
- Thorough understanding of the Ontario Building Code (OBC).
- Knowledge of CPSO and CSA standards applicable to medical office environments.
- Experience preparing, submitting, and managing building permit applications.
- Ability to coordinate with municipalities and respond effectively to permit review comments.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, construction-ready drawings.
- Organized and capable of managing multiple projects and priorities at the same time.
- Team-oriented and comfortable working collaboratively across multiple disciplines.
- Able to perform effectively under tight timelines in a fast-paced project environment.
- Practical, solutions-oriented mindset with a strong understanding of how drawings translate into construction.

Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
