meat wholesaler needs shipper receiver Monday to Friday 7am-4pm.Must be fit and willing to work in cold conditions.

TASKS:

- Assemble and prepare outgoing orders
- Calculate and compare transport/ courier pricing and quotes using price list
- Prepare shipping documents for outgoing orders
- Pack, seal, and label all outgoing orders
- Receive incoming orders from manufacturer
- Breakdown, examine, and count all incoming orders
- Communicate with management to notify/rectify problems such as:
- Damages
- Shortages
- Overages
- Defective/discontinued items
- Transport the received items and physically stocking them in their location
- Light warehouse maintenance to maintain a clean work area
- Inventory counts and physical stock checks

QUALIFICATIONS:

- A high school diploma or G.E.D.
- Minimum 1 year experience in comparable position
- Bilingual
- Forklift certification an asset

- Able to work standing and lift boxes up to 55 pounds / 25 Kg
- Be well-organized, disciplined and self-motivated to achieve results
- Able to respond effectively to multi-tasking and execute in a dynamic, quick-paced work environment
- Able to work in team environment; remain calm under pressure
- Have good verbal and communication skills
- Have a flexible schedule with availability to work evenings and weekends, on occasion.
- Have a strong attention to detail and accuracy while ensuring a secure work environment.
- Employees will work a 40-hour week; Monday to Friday7am – 4pm with a 1 hour lunch and 2 x 10 minute breaks
