Doggie Playland is a large and active dog daycare located in Etobicoke. We are looking to fill in a permanent , Half time/day position. Tuesday (2pm-6pm)- Saturday (8.15am-2.30pm)

Our environment is active and fun in an open concept facility with plenty of windows and huge fenced in outdoor space. No dog walking required.

Only candidates with dog pack experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

As a Daycare Attendant you are responsible to ensure a fun, clean and secure environment for dogs and staff. You are assertive and able to handle all breeds and sizes of dogs . You will work as a team and are required to supervise and assess the dogs, correct undesirable behaviour as well as clean up after them.

Skills

Confident, calm, assertive and able to handle a large pack of dogs of all sizes.



Must work well as a team and willing to take directions from the team leader. Ability to communicate well with other team members and clients is expected.

Being able to read a dog's body language is a must as well as being able to stop confrontations before they escalate.

Experience

Previous dog daycare or dog walking experience is preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.60-$18.00 per hour
