Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Laborer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and a variety of construction skills to assist in various projects. This role involves working with power tools and performing tasks related to framing, roofing, drywall installation, flooring & tile laying, caulking, painting, siding, window & door installation, and basic electrical & plumbing work. Responsibilities

- Operate power tools safely and efficiently for various construction tasks
- Framing of walls, ceilings, flooring and roofs
- Assist in the installation of drywall, ensuring proper alignment and finishing
- Laying tiles & laminate flooring with precision for both aesthetic appeal and functionality
- Finish carpentry including installing window/door casings and baseboards, installing fixtures and hardware, cabinet installation
- Support construction estimating by providing accurate measurements and material needs
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications

Requirements

- Proven experience in construction or skilled labor roles is a must
- Experience framing large buildings & Additions
- Experience installing Steel roof and siding
- Proficiency in using power tools safely is essential




- Knowledge of drywall installation techniques an asset
- Experience in laying tile & laminate flooring
- Basic plumbing knowledge is a plus
- Experience in Painting & finishing details
- Understanding of construction estimating practices is desirable
- Ability to read blueprints, plans, specs and instructions
- Familiarity with electrical systems is beneficial but not mandatory
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols at all times
- Ability to be a team player, reliable, and self starter
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must have reliable transportation
- Valid safety training including Working at Heights necessary, but can be provided
- Supervising crews and subs on site when needed
- Ability to handle physically demanding work both indoors & outdoors
- Can meet deadlines and problem solve based on tasks provided

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 45.0 per week
