Job Summary

We are currently seeking a Custom Trimming & Bonding Technician to join our client's team. The successful candidate will be responsible for trimming, finishing, and bonding fiberglass components using materials such as resin, fiberglass, and industrial adhesives. This role requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to follow production specifications to ensure high-quality finished products.

Key Responsibilities

- Trim, shape, and finish fiberglass components using hand tools and power tools.
- Apply resin, fiberglass materials, and industrial adhesives (glue) to bond and assemble components according to specifications.
- Prepare surfaces for bonding by cleaning, sanding, and applying bonding materials as required.
- Measure and inspect parts to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met.
- Follow work orders, production instructions, and safety procedures.
- Perform quality checks on completed work to ensure proper bonding and finishing.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Report any defects, material issues, or production concerns to supervisors.




- Follow all workplace health and safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in manufacturing, fiberglass work, trimming, or bonding is considered an asset.
- Ability to use hand tools and measuring equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable working with resin, fiberglass, and adhesives in a production environment.

Working Hours

- Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Compensation

- Pay Rate: $19.25 per hour

Work Environment

- Manufacturing/production environment working with fiberglass materials, resin, and adhesives.
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, masks, and safety glasses may be required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.25 per hour

Expected hours: 44 per week
