About the Position

We are looking for a caring, compassionate, and dependable Casual RN or LPN to join our team in a long-term care setting.

This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse who enjoys building meaningful relationships with residents and working as part of a supportive, collaborative team. Our nurses play an significant role in providing safe, person-centred care while helping residents maintain their dignity, independence, and quality of life.

Responsibilities

- Provide safe, compassionate, and person-centred nursing care to residents.
- Assess residents' health status and respond appropriately to changes in condition.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with policies and physician orders.
- Monitor and document residents' care, progress, and changes in condition.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, care aides, and other members of the healthcare team.
- Participate in care planning and ensure individualized care plans are followed.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and changing resident needs.
- Provide guidance and support to care staff as required.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
- Promote a respectful, safe, and supportive environment for residents and staff.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN):





- Current registration in good standing with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Current CPR certification.
- Previous long-term care experience is an asset.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

- Current registration in good standing with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Current CPR certification.
- Previous long-term care experience is an asset.

Pay: $41.92-$55.91 per hour
