Duties
- Conduct thorough examinations of animals to assess their health status and diagnose medical conditions
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including surgeries, vaccinations, and preventive care strategies
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for each patient, documenting diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up care
- Educate pet owners on health management, nutrition, behavior, and preventive practices to promote long-term wellness
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure smooth clinic operations and high-quality patient care
- Perform laboratory tests such as blood work or other diagnostics to assist in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, legal requirements, and ethical standards in veterinary practice
Skills
- Valid license to practice as a Veterinarian in the Ontario
- Strong clinical skills with the ability to perform surgeries, diagnostics, and emergency procedures confidently (although mentorship is provided)
- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate pet owners and collaborate with team members
- Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Compassionate approach with a genuine passion for animal health and owner education
- Proactive problem-solving skills combined with a positive attitude toward continuous learning

Pay: $90,000.00-$130,000.00 per year
