We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Millwright to join our manufacturing team in St. Catharines. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and installing manufacturing equipment while supporting a robust culture of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

- Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to identify malfunctions and irregularities
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues on manufacturing equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance as assigned
- Adjust, repair, fabricate, and replace defective machinery components
- Install and maintain stationary machinery and equipment
- Provide maintenance support throughout the manufacturing facility
- Assist with the installation of new equipment
- Perform welding and fabrication tasks as required
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and maintenance issues
- Follow all company safety and quality procedures

Qualifications

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 433A Industrial Mechanic Millwright certification required




- Minimum 3 years of Millwright experience in a heavy industrial environment
- Previous welding experience required
- Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems is an asset
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible to work rotating shifts and overtime as required

Schedule

- Rotating 3-shift rotation: Days, Afternoons, and Midnights
- 8-hour shifts
- Standard 40-hour work week
- Overtime frequently required during maintenance, breakdowns, and plant shutdowns
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts may also be required depending on operational needs

Compensation

- $45.57/hour
- $3.70/hour Cost of Living Allowance
- Afternoon shift premium: $0.75/hour
- Midnight shift premium: $1.00/hour
