Sonny Can’t Dance is a brand-new modern steakhouse with a lively supper club atmosphere, bringing together premium steaks, fresh seafood, quality ingredients, and elevated hospitality in a fun, high-energy environment.

We're building our opening kitchen team and are looking for experienced, passionate, and reliable Line Cooks who take pride in what they do and want to be part of something from the ground up.

This is a great opportunity for a cook who enjoys a busy service, cares about consistency and presentation, and wants to work alongside a team that takes food and hospitality seriously — without taking ourselves too seriously.

What You'll Be Doing

- Execute dishes consistently and to recipe during busy dinner service
- Work efficiently and confidently on your assigned station
- Maintain high standards for quality, presentation, and food safety
- Properly prep, portion, label, and store ingredients
- Keep your station clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout service
- Communicate clearly with the kitchen team during service
- Support your fellow cooks and contribute to a positive kitchen environment
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards

What We're Looking For

- Previous line cook experience, preferably in a high-volume or upscale restaurant




- Solid knife skills and solid understanding of kitchen fundamentals
- Ability to work efficiently and stay composed under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Positive attitude and a genuine team-first mentality
- Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and busy dinner services
- A willingness to learn and grow with the restaurant

What We Offer

- $20.00–$22.50/hour + tips
- Wednesday–Saturday schedule
- Evening shifts with kitchen hours of 3:00 PM–12:00am
