About the Role

As a Manufacturing Technician, you will assemble, test, inspect, and package medical devices in a clean, highly regulated manufacturing environment. Working in an ISO Class 7 cleanroom, you'll follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Valuable Documentation Practices (GDP), and detailed manufacturing procedures to produce products that meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Assemble, test, inspect, and package medical devices according to approved manufacturing procedures.
- Perform manual precision assembly using small components, tools, fixtures, UV Resin for bonding components, and measuring devices.
- Load, operate, monitor, and unload automated manufacturing equipment.
- Work safely and effectively in an ISO Class 7 cleanroom while wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Accurately complete production records and manufacturing documentation in accordance with established procedures.
- Maintain strict adherence to GMP, cleanliness, and contamination control requirements.
- Perform in-process inspections to ensure products consistently meet quality standards.
- Work independently while contributing to a collaborative,



team-oriented manufacturing environment.
- Meet production schedules while minimizing waste and maintaining exceptional product quality.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

- Post-secondary diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Ability to follow detailed written procedures and work instructions.
- Willingness to learn new equipment, tools, fixtures, and testing methods through on-the-job training.

Preferred

- Experience in a manufacturing, laboratory, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device environment.
- Experience working with small components requiring precision assembly.
- Experience using hand tools, fixtures, microscopes, or measuring equipment.

Work Details

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Available shifts include:

- 1:45 p.m. – 10:15 p.m.
- 3:45 p.m. – 12:15 a.m.
- 5:45 p.m. – 2:15 a.m.

Note: Shift hours may be adjusted based on business needs, with appropriate notice provided to employees.

Location: Kingston, Ontario (in-person only)

Compensation: $19.00–$22.00/hour

Probation Period: Six months

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
