We’re looking for a reliable, hardworking Line Cook/general back of house to join our café kitchen team. This is a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in clean and organized workspaces, and understands the importance of consistency and teamwork during service.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook menu items to our standards during service
- Set up and maintain your station throughout the shift
- Complete a portion of daily food preparation and ingredient prep
- Work efficiently and accurately during busy service periods
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and proper food-handling procedures
- Open or close the kitchen depending on your scheduled shift
- Complete opening and closing duties, including equipment and station cleaning
- Wash dishes and cookware as needed and help keep dish areas organized
- Properly store, label, and rotate food and ingredients
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams
- Help with other kitchen duties as needed

- Previous line cook or kitchen experience is an asset
- Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced café environment
- Strong attention to cleanliness and organization
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to take on a variety of kitchen responsibilities
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to follow recipes, procedures, and food-safety standards
