Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Mobile Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy machinery and industrial equipment used across various sectors. Your expertise will ensure that our customers fleet of heavy-duty vehicles and equipment operate safely, efficiently, and reliably.

Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and other machinery using advanced hand tools and power tools.

Conduct routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, filter replacements, electrical system checks, and hydraulic inspections to maximize equipment lifespan.

Troubleshoot mechanical issues utilizing schematics and technical manuals to identify root causes efficiently.

Operate heavy machinery safely during repairs or testing procedures to ensure proper functionality post-maintenance.

Weld, fabricate, or modify parts as needed to meet repair specifications or improve equipment performance.

Maintain detailed service records, repair logs, and inspection reports to ensure compliance with safety standards and warranty requirements.

Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs while adhering to safety protocols and quality standards.

Experience:





Proven mechanic experience working with heavy-duty equipment in a mobile setting.

Extensive knowledge of industrial machinery including excavators, cranes, forklifts, and other heavy equipment.

Hands-on experience with automotive repair techniques applicable to heavy vehicles and machinery.

Solid electrical experience related to troubleshooting wiring systems and electronic controls on heavy equipment.

Skilled in reading schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints for accurate diagnostics and repairs.

Familiarity with HVAC systems used in industrial applications is a plus.

Ability to operate power tools safely and efficiently during maintenance procedures.

Experience with welding, fabrication, or assembly tasks is advantageous.

Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance needs.
