The Chance

Sundance College is currently seeking to fill the permanent role of an Administrative Assistant within the Education Department. This role is an on-campus position at our campus in Calgary, Alberta.

Key Responsibilities

- The Administrative Assistant is a core administrative member of the campus team
- Communicates and coordinates extensively with staff, students, and other departments to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Completes a wide variety of administrative tasks including updating information systems, supporting projects, and facilitating campus initiatives.
- Works effectively in a supportive, collaborative team setting
- Coordinates administration on various issues with the department staff;
- Assists with other administrative duties or projects as assigned

Qualifications and Experience

- Post-secondary education is an asset.




- Minimum 3 years of administrative experience in an office setting
- Excellent grammar skills to support writing presentation content
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Exceptional customer service
- Proficient in MS Outlook, MS Word and MS Excel. PowerPoint
- Technologically savvy with an eye for efficiencies
- Willing and able to work within a team environment on independent tasks
- Superb communication skills to maintain flow of the campus
- Reliable, punctual and well-organized
- Desire to engage and contribute to a fun, fast-paced, supportive environment
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to derive satisfaction from completing tasks well on-time.
- Able to prioritize daily and weekly tasks; a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
