Macro Foods is a proudly locally owned business in Windsor, ON, dedicated to serving our community with fresh, healthy, chef-prepared meals. Along with meals, we offer protein shakes, supplements, and healthy snacks. Customers can walk in for quick grab-and-go items or order online for delivery anywhere across Ontario.

We are currently seeking a driven, experienced, and highly organized Store Manager to lead our retail team. This individual will be responsible for overseeing daily store operations, managing staff, ensuring exceptional customer service, and upholding the high standards that Macro Foods is known for. The ideal candidate is energetic, solutions-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Strong leadership abilities and general knowledge of health and nutrition are considered robust assets.

Key Responsibilities:Leadership & Staff Management

- Lead a team of 3–5 employees, including hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance management.
- Act as Manager on Duty (MOD) to resolve staff or customer concerns following company policies.
- Maintain clear daily communication with all 8 retail locations.
- Work collaboratively with the management team to create and maintain weekly staffing schedules.
- Conduct and participate in weekly management meetings.

Customer Experience

- Greet all customers and ensure a positive store experience.
- Provide knowledgeable explanations of meals, ingredients, shakes, supplements, and services.




- Assist customers requiring additional support or accommodations.
- Handle escalated customer inquiries both in-person and online.
- Ensure store standards, cleanliness, and merchandising meet company expectations.

Operations & Administration

- Oversee cash handling, deposits, and register accuracy.
- Answer and direct phone calls, respond to emails, social media inquiries, and website messages.
- Complete required morning and afternoon calls with other locations.
- Place orders for products, track inventory, and minimize waste.
- Perform store inspections and ensure compliance with food safety procedures.
- Manage community outreach efforts and represent Macro Foods positively within the community.
- Uphold policy, procedure, and operational efficiency across the store.

Certification Requirements

- Must complete Safe Food Handlers Certification and CPR Certification within the first 2 weeks of employment.

Schedule

- Opening: 10 AM (9 AM Wednesdays)
- Closing: 7 PM
- Weekend Shifts: 11 AM – 6 PM (10 AM start on Sundays)

Minimum Availability

- Open availability Monday–Sunday.
- Must be available for alternating weekends.
- Five shifts per week, averaging 30–40 hours.

Must be able to travel between our Dougall, Wyandotte, Malden, and Amy Croft locations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
