Overview:

The Construction Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the construction activities which take place on the worksite. The successful candidate will be heavily involved in planning, organizing, and controlling projects as they progress, in collaboration with the Construction Manager. This individual will also be responsible for overseeing his/her own crew, and driving deadlines while upholding health and safety standards.

Key Requirements:

- Positive attitude and willingness to encourage others and work in a team environment.
- Civil (water/sewer) construction experience.
- Experience supervising construction projects.
- Ability to set priorities and exercise flexibility where necessary.
- Comprehension of proper safety procedures and recognition of hazards.

Responsibilities:

- Scheduling, coordinating,



and supervising the daily activities of the job site based on CPM schedule and direction from the Construction Manager.
- Facilitation of production goals and standards on-site.
- Contribution of key information to strategically advance jobs, resolve issues, and identify areas for improvement.
- Monitoring performance of employees and subcontractors.
- Allocating resources, materials, subcontractors, and staff.
- Ensuring the job site is adhering to safety standards and the enforcement of company policies and procedures.

Experience:

- 5+ years in civil road construction minimum
- Heavy knowledge and understanding of water, sewer, storm

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00-$48.00 per year

Experience:

- sewer and watermain construction: 5 years (required)
- supervising sewer and watermain construction: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- G Driver's License (required)
