Prince Albert Smiles Dental Centre is looking for a motivated, caring, and dependable person to join our team as a Dental Aide.

Previous dental experience is not required. We are happy to train the right person.

We have a busy, modern dental practice and a team that takes a lot of pride in providing excellent care to our patients. Just as importantly, we believe in teaching, mentoring, and helping good people develop their skills.

For this position, we're looking less at where you've worked before and more at who you are, how you work, and whether you're eager to learn.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Dental Aide, you'll work alongside our dentists and experienced clinical team while learning how a busy dental practice operates.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Sterilizing and organizing dental instruments
- Preparing and turning over treatment rooms
- Maintaining excellent infection-control and cleanliness standards
- Stocking supplies and keeping clinical areas organized
- Helping with patient flow and making patients feel comfortable
- Supporting our dentists and clinical team throughout the day
- Learning dental terminology, procedures, materials, equipment, and technology
- Pitching in wherever needed to help the clinic run smoothly

The successful candidate must already have, or be willing to complete, the Dispensary Assistant IPC (DENT-1622) course through Saskatchewan Polytechnic.
