Capital Yardworks is seeking a dependable and professional A, AR, or AZ Licensed Driver to join our growing team. Please note that a DZ license does not meet the requirements for this position. This role plays a key part in supporting our crews by safely and efficiently transporting materials, equipment, and supplies to job sites throughout the Ottawa area.

Responsibilities

- Operate trucks and trailers to transport landscape materials, playground equipment, tools, and machinery to various job sites across Ottawa
- Complete daily pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate driving logs
- Load and unload materials and equipment using machinery such as skid steers, tractors, or forklifts when required
- Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies




- Communicate effectively with site supervisors and crews to ensure deliveries are completed on time

Requirements

- Valid A, AR, or AZ Driver’s License
- Clean driving record and a current 3-year driver’s abstract
- Experience operating trucks with trailers, including equipment, dump, or flatbed trailers
- Ability to safely load, unload, and secure materials and equipment
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to safety
- Ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- Familiarity with Ottawa roads and construction site operations is considered an asset
