We specialize in natural and holistic pet food, pet treats, and supplements, and also carry a wide selection of Health & Beauty supplies (shampoos, grooming tools, dental products, etc.), toys, carriers and crates, beds, clothing, leashes and collars, training tools. We are currently seeking a positive, motivated individual to join our Brampton – Worthington location

Responsibilities
- Ensure positive customer experience by providing product knowledge expertise
- Maintain store visual presentation expectations and maintenance, as well as housekeeping standards
- Ensure 100% price scan accuracy (accurate pricing on all products)
- Complete all required training courses
- Ensures rapidly selling merchandise is replenished to the shelves, racks, stack bases, and end caps during the peak selling times
- Maintains an organized backroom by stacking empty pallets, taking returns to a designated location, bailing cardboard,



emptying the bailer when full, disposing of trash in the compactor, and cleaning the backroom
- Manage weekly/bi-weekly orders from distributors and receive on the POS system
- Adheres to standards and policies for product rotation, sell-by dates, expiration dates, and removal of merchandise that is damaged or unacceptable in appearance to ensure quality

Requirements
- Strong and effective communication and planning skills
- Excellent organizational skills with high level of maturity
- Previous experience in within the pet industry is preferred
- Computer literate with knowledge of MS Office
- Positive attitude
- Self motivated, result oriented and disciplined team player
- Current or previous pet owner
- Ability to carry 30 lb
