Job Opportunity: Guest Experience & Pasta Class Assistant Location: Terra Mia Events inside Casa Mia Ristorante – Niagara Falls

Terra Mia Events is looking for a Pasta Class Assistant to join our team with the potential for more hours and a longer-term position. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic workplace where attention to detail and professionalism are valued.

About the Role
You’ll assist in setting up the pasta studio, supporting our instructors, and ensuring every guest enjoys an exceptional experience. Tasks include, but not limited to:

- Studio setup, organization, and cleanup. For example, but not limited to, weighing out flour and eggs, sweeping, stocking handwash stations, wiping down countertops , organizing all equipment for each unique class.
- Welcoming guests on arrival
- Assisting our Sommelier with cocktail and welcoming service
- Assisting our hosts throughout the experience
- Setting up the dinner table to the Terra Mia standards
- Serving the guests during dinner, clearing plates and glasses, and helping reset for the next class
- Polishing glasses and cutlery

Who We’re Looking For

- Detail-oriented and organized with a passion for hospitality
- Someone reliable and punctual
- Someone who can take constructive criticism with a positive attitude




- Positive, personable, and eager to learn
- Good personal hygiene is a MUST - we are handling food and serving guests.
- Able to work evenings during the week and day time / evenings on weekends
- Previous experience in events or service is an asset (Smart Serve preferred, not required)
- Previous restaurant experience is a bonus
- Interest or experience in cooking or baking is an asset
- Takes pride in creating a seamless, warm and welcoming environment
- Someone who is able to stand on their feet for up to 5-6 hours

Compensation & Schedule

- Starting at $18/hour, higher for qualified candidates
- Pay period is biweekly
- Includes a share of pooled hourly class gratuities on paychecks
- Part-time, flexible schedule, Schedule is given out in one month blocks
- Probation period of 3 months and growth review after 6 months
