Western Equipment is the leading supplier of Industrial, Safety & Rigging supplies to BC's logging, mining, aquaculture and construction industries. Founded in 1947, this family owned and operated company currently operates seven branches throughout BC.

Western Equipment Surrey is looking to hire a full time shipper/receiver/warehouseperson to work Monday- Friday 8:00 am until 4:30 pm. Our warehouse is a fast paced environment with a lot of product entering and leaving the warehouse in the same day. Applicants must have a good knowledge of computers, be a fast learner, self-motivated, and able to work independently. A fork lift ticket/knowledge is nice to have but not necessary as we do in house training.

What the job is:

- Loading and unloading freight
- Picking / shipping products for customer orders
- Printing inter branch transfers and picking goods in a timely fashion




- Checking shipments for accuracy as goods come in and ship out
- Working with other team members to help clean / organize warehouse
- Strive to maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Putting stock away, while making sure it is correctly labeled and bin located
- Learning about other duties in the company to prepare for possible advancement
- Performing daily inventory cycle counting

Necessary abilities/qualifications:

- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to regularly lift up to 50lbs
- Valid BC Drivers License
- Forklift experience
- Proficiency in computer data entry
