Tutoring Work for Qualified Teachers and Educators

S.M.A.R.T. Tutoring and Test Preparation Services is currently hiring qualified and experienced elementary and high school educators to provide private tutoring services to students in Grades 7-10.

We have immediate need in Barrie, servicing Oro-Medonte, Springwater, Essa, Stroud.

We also have tutoring opportunities available throughout Simcoe County, including Bradford, Alliston, Innisfil, Midland, Orillia and surrounding communities.

What You'll Tutor

We are currently seeking teachers who can support students in Grades 7-10 with one of the following:

- Writing and language development
- Mathematics

and:

- Study skills and organization

Qualifications

Preferred applicants will have relevant teaching credentials such as:

- B.A. English (Liberal Arts)
- B.A. Mathematics
- B.Ed.
- OCT certification (Junior/ Intermediate or Intermediate/ Senior)
- Experience teaching and/or tutoring students
- Strong communication and organizational skills




- A reliable vehicle for travel to students' homes or local libraries
- Evening availability during the school year

Additional Qualifications (AQs) are considered an asset but are not required.
