Portia Learning Centre is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and collaborative Registered Behaviour Analyst (RBA) to join our Lancaster Centre as a Centre Manager / RBA.

This role is an excellent opportunity for a newly certified Behaviour Analyst—or an experienced clinician looking to take the next step into leadership. You'll manage your own clinical caseload while receiving ongoing mentorship from experienced Clinical Supervisors and senior leadership as you develop your clinical and leadership skills.

As the Centre Manager, you'll play an important role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Lancaster clinic, mentoring Behaviour Therapists, collaborating with families, and ensuring high-quality, evidence-based ABA services are delivered with compassion and clinical excellence.

Responsibilities

Clinical Services

- Manage an assigned caseload of children and youth receiving ABA services, ensuring high-quality, individualized, family-centred care.
- Participate in developmental screenings and intake assessments, providing clinical recommendations and collaborating with families to determine appropriate services.
- Conduct behavioural and skills assessments (VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, AFLS, ESDM, PEAK, AIM).
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized ABA treatment plans based on assessment results and family priorities.
- Analyze clinical data and make evidence-based program modifications.
- Provide direct behavioural services, parent coaching, and facilitate progress meetings.
- Ensure accurate clinical documentation and timely reporting using the Portia ABA Clinic Software.
- Maintain high standards of ethical, evidence-based clinical practice in accordance with CPBAO and BACB principles.

Staff Leadership & Mentorship

- Provide clinical guidance and ongoing support to Behaviour Therapists.
- Coach staff in ABA principles, program implementation, and professional development.
- Foster a collaborative, respectful,



and positive team environment.
- Participate in staff training, mentoring, and clinical case discussions.
- Work alongside senior clinical leadership while developing your own supervisory skills.

Centre Operations

- Support the day-to-day operations of the Lancaster clinic.
- Assist with scheduling, staffing coordination, and clinic workflow.
- Help maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming environment for clients, families, and staff.
- Collaborate with administrative and leadership teams to ensure efficient clinic operations.

Collaboration

- Build strong relationships with families through compassionate communication and ongoing collaboration.
- Work closely with Behaviour Therapists, Clinical Supervisors, psychologists, social workers, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and other professionals.
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and quality improvement initiatives.

QualificationsRequired

- Registered Behaviour Analyst (RBA) in Ontario.
- Newly certified RBAs are encouraged to apply.
- Experience providing ABA services to children and youth with autism and developmental disabilities.
- Strong knowledge of Applied Behaviour Analysis principles and evidence-based interventions.
- Familiarity with behavioural assessment tools such as VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, AFLS, ESDM, PEAK, or similar assessments.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to ethical practice and high-quality clinical care.





Preferred Assets

- Master's degree in Behaviour Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
- Experience supervising Behaviour Therapists or mentoring junior staff.
- Familiarity with the Ontario Autism Program (OAP).
- Experience with electronic clinical documentation systems.
- Experience supporting clinic operations or team coordination.
- Bilingualism (English/French or another language) is considered an asset.
- Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, Psychologists, and Social Workers.
