Down to Earth Labs is hiring seasonal sample preparation assistants:

- One position to organize samples when received and prep samples to be tested.
- One position for weighing and organizing soil samples to assist our senior lab technicians.

We are a team that performs in a rapid-paced and vibrant work environment. Our ideal co-workers are dedicated individuals who enjoy learning on the job and have knowledge or interest in agriculture. We are happy to train candidates.

The start time will be approximately September 15th.

The job contract will be 8-12 weeks, consisting of 8-hour work days with possible overtime.

Duties included but are not limited to:

- Weighing samples
- Sample prep
- Assisting with sample analysis.
- Assisting technicians to report accurate results in a timely manner
- Keeping lab and work areas clean and tidy.

We require a high school diploma. Other than that, there are no specific education requirements.



Having the following skills will help you succeed at Down to Earth Labs:

- Knowledge of Excel spreadsheets
- Time management skills
- Positive attitude
- Honesty and reliability
- Ability to work as a team but also independently
- Ability to work through routine and repetitive analysis

Interest in agriculture and the agricultural community is of high importance to us. Prior experience is not required for this position, but may be beneficial in understanding the importance of the testing that we complete.
