FrenchetVoila is a private business offering educational tutoring services in Math and French, from K to 12, and also adults in speaking French. We are located in Alberta . We are currently looking for Online French & Math Tutor, who speaks French and English; comfortable working with children from K to grade 12. The tutor needs to be flexible between Monday to Friday from 4:30 pm-8:00 pm, and Saturdays, Sundays from 9 am-1:00 pm (Mountain Time).

FrenchetVoila is a private business offering educational tutoring services in Math and French, from K to 12, and also adults in speaking French. We are currently looking for Online French & Math Tutor, who speaks French and English; comfortable working with children from K to grade 12. The tutor needs to be flexible between Monday to Friday from 4:00 pm-8:00 pm, and Saturdays, Sundays from 9 am-1:00 pm.

Location: Online Tutoring

Ideal candidate:

· Undergraduate or post-secondary qualification (or currently working towards a degree)

· Bachelor's degree is an asset

· Strong secondary school French skills are an asset





· Teaching certification is an asset

· Graduate or enrolled in B.Ed, B.Sc is an asset

· Certified teacher is an asset

· Retired teacher is an asset

· Experience teaching/tutoring is an asset

· Current or willingness to get a vulnerable sector police check

Job Type:

· Part-time

· Minimum 3- 7hrs/week

Salary: $16-$18/hour, based on experience

Experience: Tutoring or Teaching 1 year (Required)

Education:

· Secondary School

· Bachelor's degree is an asset

Responsibilities

- Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions in math to students, ensuring comprehension of concepts in both French and English.
- Develop personalized lesson plans that cater to individual learning styles and needs.
- Utilize technology to enhance learning experiences and track student progress.
- Foster a supportive and engaging learning environment, encouraging students to ask questions and express difficulties.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student performance and areas for improvement.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning abilities, including special education needs.
