Responsibilities
- Support pharmacists in preparing prescriptions, verifying medication accuracy, and managing inventory
- Assist patients with over-the-counter products and answer basic medication-related questions
- Maintain precise records of medication dispensing, inventory levels, and patient interactions
- Ensure compliance with medical terminology standards and pharmacy protocols
- Handle medication administration tasks under supervision, ensuring safety and accuracy
- Provide excellent patient care by offering friendly service and addressing inquiries professionally
- Support the organization of pharmacy workflows, including stocking shelves and labeling medications
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is highly desirable
- Experience working as a pharmacy technician or in a similar role is preferred
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and medication administration procedures
- Demonstrated ability to deliver compassionate patient care with professionalism
- Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail
