Commercial Graphics / Wrap Installer Job Summary

Elevation Printworks is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Commercial Graphics & Vehicle Wrap Installer to join our team full-time. Based out of our shop in the Great Plains Industrial Park in SE Calgary, you will be responsible for prepping, measuring, laying out, and applying high-quality vinyl graphics to fleet vehicles, walls, windows, and commercial structures. The ideal candidate possesses an uncompromising eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of vinyl materials and installation techniques.

Schedule & Work Location

- Location: Great Plains Industrial Park (SE Calgary, AB)
- Primary Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Flexibility: Occasional evening or weekend shifts required to accommodate specialized event graphics and retail graphics installations.

Key Responsibilities

- Surface Preparation: Clean, prep, and decontaminate vehicle and building surfaces thoroughly prior to installation to ensure maximum vinyl adhesion.
- Graphics Installation: Apply full wraps, partial wraps, decals, and architectural graphics to fleet vehicles, trailers, smooth walls, textured surfaces, and glass.
- Precision Finishing: Masterfully trim, weed, torch, and tuck vinyl around rivets, door handles, deep channels,



and complex curves using standard industry tools.
- Quality Control: Inspect final products for bubbles, wrinkles, lifting, or alignment issues, and proactively correct errors to meet premium quality standards.
- Site and Shop Support: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace; assist with hardware removal/reinstallation on vehicles when necessary.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Licensing: Must possess a valid Class 5 driver's licence and provide a clean driver's abstract (required for mobile/on-site jobs).
- Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of qualified experience in vehicle wrap and commercial graphics installation.
- Certification: Industry certifications (e.g., 3M, Avery Dennison, Orafol etc) are highly preferred but not required.
- Technical Skills: Proficient with installation tools, including heat guns, torches, squeegees, knifeless tape, and cutting tools.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and squat for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and comfortably work on ladders, lifts, or scaffolding.
- Detail Oriented: Strong spatial awareness, math skills for accurate measuring, and an uncompromising commitment to alignment and seamless finishes.

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
