Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Hotel Head Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and order across our facilities. This vital role requires a proactive leader who can oversee daily cleaning operations, ensure compliance with safety and hygiene protocols, and foster a positive environment for staff and guests alike. As the Head Housekeeper, you will be instrumental in creating a welcoming, spotless environment that reflects our commitment to excellence and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate all custodial and cleaning activities within the facility, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules, procedures, and quality control measures to maintain consistency and excellence in service
- Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff to promote teamwork, safety, and professional growth
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment; order replacements as needed to ensure uninterrupted operations
- Conduct regular inspections of all areas to identify cleanliness issues or safety hazards, taking prompt corrective action
- Enforce health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices,



including proper use of chemicals and equipment
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning initiatives during off-peak hours

Qualifications

- Proven custodial experience with a strong understanding of commercial cleaning standards
- Demonstrated leadership skills in managing teams within a hospitality or facilities management setting
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and the proper handling of cleaning chemicals
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills to train staff clearly and foster a positive work environment
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
