- Maintain high standards of hygiene by disinfecting surfaces, sterilizing equipment, and managing waste disposal efficiently
- Conduct routine inspections of the facility to identify maintenance needs such as plumbing issues, lighting problems, or equipment malfunctions
- Assist with basic facilities maintenance tasks to ensure all areas are safe, functional, and compliant with health standards
- Follow established protocols for infection control and safety procedures at all times during cleaning and maintenance activities




- Collaborate with healthcare staff to address specific cleaning requests or urgent sanitation needs promptly
- Keep detailed records of cleaning schedules, maintenance activities, and supplies inventory

Qualifications

- Prior experience in commercial cleaning or healthcare environment preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, disinfectants, and safety protocols in a hospital setting
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, lifting moderate loads, and bending or kneeling as needed
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Basic understanding of facilities maintenance practices is advantageous but not mandatory
