Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Class 3 Hydrovac Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will operate specialized hydrovac trucks to safely and efficiently excavate around utilities, structures, and other underground infrastructure. Your expertise will help ensure projects progress smoothly while maintaining the highest safety standards. Responsibilities

- Operate Class 3 Hydrovac trucks with precision, ensuring safe excavation around underground utilities and structures
- Conduct thorough pre-operation inspections of equipment, including checking fluid levels, hoses, and safety features
- Follow detailed excavation plans and communicate effectively with team members to coordinate digging activities
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including daily logs and safety documentation
- Perform routine maintenance on hydrovac units and other heavy equipment such as loaders, excavators, dozers, graders, and backhoes
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and environmental regulations during all operations
- Assist with setup and teardown of work zones, including traffic control and site preparation as needed

Requirements





- Valid Class 3 driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience preferred
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, dozers, graders, backhoes, and Caterpillar machinery
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues quickly on-site
- Experience with horizontal drilling and paving projects is a plus
- Strong understanding of construction site safety procedures and protocols
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and physically demanding environments
- Knowledge of construction practices and familiarity with utility installation or maintenance is highly desirable

Pay: $27.00-$32.00 per hour
