We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Line Cook to join our kitchen team at a fast-paced Vietnamese restaurant. The ideal candidate is passionate about food, works well under pressure, and takes pride in preparing high-quality dishes while maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook Vietnamese dishes according to recipes and restaurant standards
- Set up and stock kitchen stations with necessary supplies
- Assist with prep work including cutting vegetables, preparing proteins, sauces, broths, and garnishes
- Maintain food quality, portion control, and presentation standards
- Ensure kitchen cleanliness and follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Work efficiently during busy service periods
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff
- Monitor inventory and notify management of low stock items




- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries

Qualifications

- Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred
- Experience with Vietnamese cuisine is an asset but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Food Protected certification is required
