The Niagara-on-the-Lake Golf Club is looking for energetic and dedicated Servers for our fall season at our Waterfront Restaurant Patio and indoor Dining Room. As a Server, you will be the face of our restaurant, delivering exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, friendly interaction, and productive food and beverage delivery. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will help create memorable moments for our guests, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued from the moment they walk in. Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) system, Lightspeed, ensuring all special requests are noted clearly
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Manage multiple tables efficiently through excellent time management skills, ensuring timely service for all guests
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while providing clear receipts and change




- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, adhering to food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities while respecting guest preferences

Skills

- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a strong understanding of the food industry
- Proficiency with POS systems
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Strong time management abilities to handle busy dining periods effectively
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cashiering and bill splitting purposes
- Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is a plus, along with serving skills that demonstrate attentiveness and guest focus
- Ability to work for long hours on our outdoor patio
- Ability to work as a team, and support your fellow servers during busy times

While we are looking for servers for our fall season of September-November, there will be the opportunity to continue serving with us when we start our 2027 season.

Pay: $17.60 per hour
