Field Heavy Duty Technician – $54.07/hour + Field Premium

$54.07/hour | $3.00/hour Field Premium | Home Every Night | Year-Round Employment

The Opportunity

As a Field Heavy Duty Technician, you'll provide onsite repair, maintenance, diagnostics, and technical support for a wide range of off-road heavy equipment, including dozers, excavators, wheel loaders, skid steers, motor graders, and other heavy machinery.

You'll be responsible for:

- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, electronic, and powertrain systems
- Performing field repairs, component replacements, overhauls,



and preventative maintenance
- Using manufacturer diagnostic software, service manuals, and technical resources
- Identifying equipment deficiencies and potential failures
- Building strong customer relationships and providing professional technical support
- Completing service reports, work orders, inspections, and warranty documentation
- Working safely and independently while supporting the Service, Parts, and Technical Support teams

What You Bring

- Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician certification, or equivalent education and experience
- Experience diagnosing and repairing off-road heavy equipment
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, drivetrains, and machine electronics
- Experience with diagnostic software and electronic service tools
- Ability to read hydraulic schematics, electrical diagrams, and technical manuals
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and safely in varying field conditions
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
