eDel Logistics is a fast-growing transportation and logistics company specializing in last-mile delivery, cargo vans, and truckload transportation throughout Canada. We are looking for a highly organized and analytical Transformation Lead to help modernize our operations, improve processes, implement technology, and drive continuous improvement across the organization.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, building systems, and leading change.
Position Summary
The Transformation Lead will identify operational inefficiencies, streamline processes, implement technology solutions, and manage improvement projects across all departments. This individual will work closely with the CEO and department leaders to improve productivity, reduce costs, enhance customer service, and ensure scalable growth.
This role is responsible for turning ideas into measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
Process Improvement
- Analyze current business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Eliminate waste, reduce manual work, and improve efficiency.
- Standardize operating procedures across departments.
- Document workflows and create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Technology & Systems
- Maximize the use of existing software platforms.
- Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks.
- Research and recommend new technology solutions.
- Assist with system implementation, testing, and employee training.
- Work with IT vendors and software providers.
Project Management
- Lead transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop project plans with clear owners, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Monitor project progress and remove roadblocks.
- Report project status to senior leadership.
Business Analysis
- Analyze operational data and identify trends.
- Benchmark competitors and industry best practices.
- Develop KPIs and dashboards.
- Recommend solutions based on data rather than assumptions.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Work closely with Operations, Dispatch, Safety, HR, Finance, and Sales.
- Facilitate meetings to drive accountability.
- Ensure projects remain on schedule.
- Build a culture of continuous improvement.
AI & Automation
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI tools and automation.
- Convert repetitive operational tasks into automated workflows.
- Recommend and test new AI solutions to improve efficiency.
Weekly Responsibilities
- Attend the weekly CEO AI Operations Meeting.
- Review KPIs and operational performance.
- Identify cost leaks and operational inefficiencies.
- Review driver coaching and bonus recommendations.
- Convert recurring dispatch issues into standardized processes or automation.
- Recommend at least one new automation or AI improvement for testing each week.
Key Projects
- Benchmark competitors and industry best practices.
- Improve utilization of company software.
- Streamline quoting for both the van and truck divisions.
- Deliver:

- Long-Term Strategic Initiatives (6–12 months)
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain,
Business, Operations, or a related field.
- 3–5+ years of experience in process improvement, operations, or project management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Visio, and project management software.
- Experience implementing business systems or automation is an asset.
- Logistics or transportation experience is preferred.

Success is measured by completed projects, measurable operational improvements, cost savings, efficiency gains, and the successful implementation of sustainable systems.
The successful candidate will play a key role in helping eDel Logistics build scalable systems, improve operational excellence, and drive innovation across the organization.
Pay: $60,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Mississauga, ON L5V 0A7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
