Cunard Pharmacy & Clinic is looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and customer-focused Part-Time Pharmacy Assistant to join our growing team.

Located in Downtown Halifax, we are a locally owned pharmacy and clinic dedicated to delivering personalized healthcare services to our community. As a newer and growing pharmacy, our focus is on building meaningful relationships with our patients while helping them access the many healthcare services we offer.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people and providing outstanding customer service. Unlike a traditional pharmacy assistant role, this position is primarily focused on welcoming patients, educating them about our pharmacy and clinic services, and maintaining an organized and inviting front store. While you will support the pharmacy team as needed, there may be minimal dispensing-related work depending on the day.

What You'll Do

As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will help create a positive experience for every patient by:

- Greeting and assisting patients in a friendly and professional manner.
- Educating patients about our pharmacy and clinic services and helping them find the care they need.
- Answering phone calls and responding to general inquiries.
- Scheduling appointments for pharmacy and clinic services.
- Processing purchases and operating the cash register.
- Receiving, stocking,



and merchandising front store products.
- Keeping the front store clean, organized, and well-presented.
- Assisting with inventory management and administrative tasks.
- Supporting the pharmacy team with day-to-day operations as needed.
- Providing exceptional customer service in every interaction.

What We're Looking For

- Friendly, approachable, and passionate about helping others.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Solid organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable learning about healthcare services and educating patients.
- Previous retail, customer service, or pharmacy experience is an asset but not required.
- Experience with Kroll Pharmacy Management Software is considered an asset.
