Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Shipper/Receiver to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, and maintaining efficient warehouse operations. This role is vital to ensuring timely delivery of products and maintaining inventory accuracy. Prior warehouse experience and familiarity with warehouse management systems are highly valued.

Duties

- Prepare outgoing shipments by packaging products securely and accurately
- Receive incoming goods, verify quantities against purchase orders, and document receipt in the warehouse management system
- Pick orders accurately using order pickers and ensure correct items are shipped
- Maintain accurate inventory records through MRP systems such as AS400 or similar platforms
- Operate warehouse distribution equipment safely and efficiently
- Assist in inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy
- Organize storage areas for optimal space utilization and easy access
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures during all shipping and receiving activities
- Support e-commerce order fulfillment processes as needed

Skills

- Proven experience in shipping & receiving,



warehouse management, or distribution roles
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), MRP systems, AS400, or similar platforms
- Experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, or other warehouse equipment (certification preferred)
- Strong understanding of order picking, packing, and load & unload procedures
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and order calculations
- Ability to operate order pickers and other material handling tools safely
- Knowledge of warehouse distribution processes and e-commerce fulfillment is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in shipments and receipts
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining safety standards

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
