Exchange Income Corporation (EIC) is in search of a Tax Analyst to work out of our Lormier Blvd. office.

Role Description

Reporting to the Tax Senior Manager, the Tax Analyst will support the company's Canadian and international tax compliance, tax accounting, and tax reporting activities. The successful candidate will assist with income tax provisions, corporate tax compliance, tax audits, and various tax planning initiatives while working closely with Finance, Accounting and Treasury.

Your Key Responsibilities May Include

- Assembling information to support preparation of the tax return




- Inputting information into tax return software
- Preparation of disclosure and other tax forms
- Preparation of quarterly tax provisions under IFRS, including current and deferred tax computations, effective tax rate reconciliations, and supporting working papers
- Oversee foreign tax instalment requirements and coordinate with subsidiaries
- Providing information support and data analysis as requested by management
- Assist with research of income tax and commodity tax and other tax issues for communication to various operating subsidiaries and head office
- Assist with responses to tax authority audit queries and information requests

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field
- 1 – 3 years of corporate tax, public accounting, or related experience would be an asset
- Proficient with spreadsheet and word processor applications
- Robust communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

Eligibility

Hours of Work & Location

- Full Time – Monday to Friday
