Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials to and from job sites in a safe and efficient manner. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations, heavy equipment operation, and the ability to navigate road construction sites. The Dump Truck Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring that our projects run smoothly and on schedule.

Responsibilities

- Operate dump trucks to transport materials such as gravel, asphalt, sand, and soil to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs of hours worked, materials transported, and any incidents that occur during transport.
- Collaborate with site managers to understand delivery schedules and requirements.
- Assist in loading and unloading materials as necessary, ensuring proper handling techniques are followed.




- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving on public roads and job sites.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks on the truck, including checking fluid levels and tire pressure.
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding delivery schedules, site conditions, and any potential issues.

Experience

- At least 2 years of dump truck driving experience.
- Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably with a Class 3 license.
- Familiarity with dump truck operation is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of gravel pits in the City of Calgary.
