ZS Law is looking for an Ontario-licensed lawyer who is passionate about litigation and client serviceand who is ready to grow with our team.

Company Description

We are a full-service law firm with a broad range of practice areas, including civil/commercial litigation, family law, business law, Small Claims Court matters, Landlord and Tenant Board matters, wills and estates, and other legal services for individuals, families, and businesses.

Hybrid Position

The position is based in Toronto, but approximately 85% of the work can be done remotely.

Responsibilities

- Manage a wide range of civil litigation and family law matters, draft legal documents including pleadings, contracts, affidavits, agreements, and correspondence, and attend examinations, mediations, and court proceedings as needed;
- Providing strategic legal advice and strong representation to clients




- Working both independently and collaboratively within a supportive team environment
- Maintaining organized and timely file management throughout all stages of each matter.

Qualifications

- Is licensed to practice law in Ontario and in positive standing with the Law Society of Ontario
- Has at least 1 year of civil litigation and/orfamily law experience
- Is willing and able to attend court
- Has strong legal drafting, advocacy,communication, and file-management skills
- Chinese(Mandarin/Cantonese) is an asset
