Responsibilities
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments to promote optimal oral health.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) accurately, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, and dietary recommendations.
- Maintain sterilization protocols and ensure all dental instruments are properly sanitized according to OSHA standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient questions, managing appointment scheduling, and creating a welcoming environment.
Skills
- Proficiency with dental software such as Dentrix or similar practice management systems .
- Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dentistry for accurate documentation and communication.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create positive patient experiences.
