Grizzly Motor Hotel, located in Fox Creek, Alberta, is looking for motivated, reliable, and hardworking team members to join our team.

PGWP (Post-Graduation Work Permit) holders are welcome to apply.

Fox Creek is an eligible community under the Alberta Rural Renewal Stream (RRS). Eligible employees who meet the program requirements may have the chance to apply for permanent residency through this program.

Position

Hotel Team Member

This is a multi-department position. Team members are expected to work in different areas of the hotel, including the Front Desk, Housekeeping, and the Liquor Store.

Job Responsibilities

- Welcome guests and provide friendly customer service
- Answer phone calls and make reservations
- Perform Front Desk duties
- Perform housekeeping duties to maintain hotel cleanliness
- Assist customers in the Liquor Store
- Operate the POS (Point-of-Sale) system
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
- Help with stocking shelves and keeping the store organized
- Lift, carry, and move supplies, beverage cases, and other hotel inventory as needed




- Assist with general property upkeep and other physically active tasks when required
- Work as part of a team and assist in different departments as needed

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is:

- Reliable, responsible, and punctual
- Friendly and customer-focused
- Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Willing to learn and take on different responsibilities
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable performing both customer service and housekeeping duties
- Comfortable with physically active work and lifting up to 50 lbs (23 kg)

Computer Skills

Candidates should have:

- Basic computer skills
- Basic Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience using POS (Point-of-Sale) systems is an asset
- Ability to learn hotel reservation and management software

Requirements

- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
- English communication skills are required
- Weekend, evening, and holiday shifts may be required
